Haenel 310 bolt action spring piston repeater. NO MAGAZINE is include at this price. This model gun was used by James Bond in the shooting gallery scene of The Living Daylights. The Haenel Company was founded in 1840 by Carl Gottlieb Haenel. The Haenel 310 is a bolt-action, spring-piston repeater that shoots 4.4mm round lead balls. The design dates back to 1933, when Schmeisser built the Haenel model 33 and 33 junior. Those models were later followed by the models 49 and 49a, 310, 400, 510, LP55R. All these Haenel models had 4.4 mm rifled barrels and were very accurate. The model 310 is just over 41″ long and weights 5 lbs 13 ounces striped. The bolt pivots up without resistance but it takes amost 20 pounds of effort to then pull the bolt back. That V-shaped protrusion hanging down beneath the stock hides the fulcrum of the bolt/lever. The 310 typically shoots in the 400 to 500 fps. All the similar Haenel models have leather piston seals, therefore, you should never use a petroleum oil in the compression chamber. The 310s that we are selling are all used, cleaned, lubricated, test fired, and work very well. Some may require a little TLC. The condition does vary little but all are generally in Good condition, some may have pitting on the metal and some may have stock finish blemishes. All the stocks are sound with no cracks or chips. Some may have swivels, slings, or front sight hoods, and some may have all the accouterments. Magazines were made in 6, 8, 10, and 12 shot. The 6, 8, and 12 shot and 4.4 mm round lead ball ammo can be found elsewhere on our website. All the magazines we are now selling are the last of the new ones available. The 8 shots are primarily for the model 33 as the 6 shot will not work in them. The 6 shot are about flush with the bottom of the stocks on the other models. We can also supply parts for the 12 shot magazines to keep them functioning smoothly. All the magazines will also fit the Anschutz 275 which is basically the same gun as the 310.
